Mr. Rule has taught English in China for two and a half academic years between 2001 and 2004. Initially, he taught all four English learning skills at Zhejiang Forestry University [2001/2002] - where he also served as Deputy Director of Studies. At Guangxi Medical University in 2002/2003, he defined the objectives and delivered all teaching for a course in Spoken English for teachers, doctors and senior professional staff. Similarly, in 2004 he designed and taught a course in Spoken English for students at Ling Ling University in Hunan. At Ling Ling, he also conducted a voluntary remedial class to bring less proficient students successfully to the required standard. All standards were confirmed by use of tutorials and practical spoken examination with results from good to excellent.
